“Initially I went in for my knees but ended up getting help for my menstrual cramps as well.  I have had severe menstrual cramps all my life (since age 12)  Yuck!  My first acupuncture treatment was only a couple of days before my next cycle started.  My flow was lighter, my clots were smaller, and cramps were far less painful.  I mean A LOT less painful.  I used to take 4 ibuprofen every 4 hours for the pain.  That’s all that would work.  After acupuncture I only had to take 2 twice the first day and 2 twice the second day.  That’s a huge improvement!  My period was also shortened by one day.  The next period was even lighter and I had even less pain that the last one.  (So it was two days shorter).  Needless to say, I am very happy with the results!  About the second time I saw Teresa for my knees she hooked electro-stimulation therapy onto the needles around my knees.  When she did that I could actually feel the energy moving through my body.  That was a pretty cool experience.  Teresa gives me the most relaxing atmosphere and makes me as comfortable as possible.  I usually fall asleep…music, heat, trickling water…it’s a wonderful experience all the way around.  Thank you Teresa for all you have done for me!”  AJ, age 45
