Take time to have fun in the summer sun! Just remember to stay hydrated and to not overdo it. Here are some heat-clearing foods to enjoy when the weather outside is hot: watermelon, apricot, lemon, peach, orange, asparagus, cucumber, lettuce, banana, fish, cantaloupe, and broccoli. Green tea also has a cooling effect on the body (even when consumed hot!) Just be mindful of the caffeine close to bed time. One of my favorite things is to put a few drops of peppermint oil in a spray bottle, top off with water and spray on my skin. It really helps to cool down, and smells good too!
